Close to the airport, you have the opportunity to visit Parque das Nações, where you can take a walk by the river, shop at the Vasco da Gama shopping centre, visit the Oceanarium, and enjoy other activities.

Further away from the city centre is Vila de Sintra, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you can visit Pena Palace, the Moorish Castle, and the Quinta da Regaleira, among others. You will also have the opportunity to sample the city's famous pastries.
